«Soulmate» is one of four singles released in anticipation of the album «Female Reggae Voices», perhaps the first ever Riddim Selection in which only female voices are heard. More than a dozen national and international reggae singers perform and wrote there own song over an instrumental created through an initiative by Open Seasons guitarist Res Staudenmann and produced in collaboration with Ludovic Hoarau, Oli Bösch, and Thomas Ola.
